Timothy/Orchard Grass hay is one of our most common mixtures that our clients prefer. It is a soft green hay with excellent palatability and higher protein. In comparison to straight timothy it is much softer in its nature. It is a great choice for farms that are feeding a variety of animals. It’s most commonly used for feeding older horses, fussy eaters, foals or sheep and goats. An excellent choice wherever a softer high protein hay is needed. This hay is grown by us locally in CT and also comes from other professional growers in the northeast. The bales average 50LBS.
