2^nd cutting timothy/ orchard grass mix is a very soft palatable hay. Its most commonly used for feeding older horses, fussy eaters, foals or sheep and goats and calves. An excellent choice wherever a softer high protein hay is needed. The hay typically averages around 16-18% protein. This hay is grown by us locally in CT and also comes from other professional growers in the northeast. The bales are most commonly carried in 3’x3’x8’ long 800lb bales as well as 3’x4’x8’ 1200lb bales.
